Introduction to Digital Photography

Do you own an awesome DSLR camera but are constantly frustrated with the inconsistent photos you take or are stuck on “Auto” mode?  You know that your digital camera is capable of taking great photographs but it seems like the instruction manual was written in a foreign language.  Our introduction to digital photography class is designed to help you move off of “auto” and start capturing the sharp (not blurry!), properly exposed (not too bright or dark) photographs that you will want to hang on your walls.  By the end of the class you will know and understand terms like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field and more!

Our introductory workshops last for two hours and include classroom style instruction and hands on shooting.  To see behind the scenes photos from our workshops and read testimonials from actual students click here.  Our introductory workshops are limited to 20 students and are held on location near downtown Nashville, TN. To register click here.

Some of the topics covered in the Introduction to Digital Photography workshop are:

•  How to properly operate your DSLR camera
•  How to get off of “Auto” mode
•  How to get the exposure you want in camera

Space is extremely limited. Register now at the special price of only $49 (Normally $99)!!! You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of your purchase.

Composition and Posing in Natural Light

Okay, so you have the basic knowledge of how to use a camera, but where do you go from there?  There is so much to photography beyond knowing what each of the buttons on your camera does!  In “Composition and Posing in Natural Light” you will learn about the elements you should look for when composing a photograph, such as location, positioning and directing a subject.  We will also be covering the best way to manipulate natural light so your photographs (and your subjects) look their best!
